What will happen at my blood test?
Big Question
Answer
You might be invited to a clinic where you will meet a doctor or a nurse qualified to do your test. Your parents can come into the room with you and can even hold your hand while the test is being done. You don’t have to look when the test is done, however, if you want to that it is fine – it’s entirely up to you! You might feel a little scratch but this will only last for a few seconds, your arm might feel a little funny but it will still be alright to use afterwards. After it is done, the doctor/nurse will put a sticky plaster on your arm and then you can go home/back to school. |
